The Orbit grinder is designed to be single-dosing friendly and minimizes the retention when grinding. If you have an Acaia Lunar, you can activate Orbit’s grind-by-weight function and enjoy an effortless dosing experience.

Orbit Colorways: Black, White, and Space Gray

In March 2024, we released two new colorways for the Acaia grinder: the Orbit Black and the Orbit White. Along with this, the latest version of the Orbit Space Gray is also available. 

All three colorways have the option of Mazzer 33M or SSP Multi-Purpose burrs. Space Gray owners will have the exclusive choice of the latest SSP Lab Sweet V3 set. The burrs are designed for exceptional filter coffee and espresso brewing.

Apart from their finish, the new Orbit colorways are identical in form and function. We made a few design changes to their original counterpart. The grinders will include:

• A Multi-Purpose Hopper that matches the grinder's body. Replacing the original funnel, the grinders arrive preinstalled with the metal hopper. It includes a lid to reduce noise and prevent flying dust. The accessory's design has several pins that allow you to attach our larger line of hoppers on top.
• Wide Adjustment Ring. The upcoming additions have a wide, minimalistic adjustment ring. This allows for precise, effortless grind control. Designed for those baristas who prefer to grind without the detent ring.
• Mounted Metal Plate engraved with the name of the originally-installed burrs.
• The grinder ships with a black or white 58 mm Dosing Cup.
