What's the difference between the white and black original Pearl?

The Black Pearl has a brighter LED display and the black paint is more expensive to manufacture – this accounts for the difference in cost between the two scales.

Both colors of Pearl function the same. The Black scale is easier to read in bright light, but if that's not a consideration then we recommend choosing the color you find more attractive.
