Scale storage

Infotip!

Traveling with your scale? Check out the official Acaia webshop to see our travel cases for the Pearl series and Lunar scales here.

When storing any of our scales, we highly recommend not stacking them. Stacking the scales, even when turned off, engages the load cell. The load cell is one of the main components of how our scales efficiently weigh. Storing scales on their side is ideal and contributes to the prolonged life of the inner mechanisms. While items such as the heat pad will not engage the cell, we recommend not placing anything heavier on the surface.

Even when the scale is turned off, we recommend avoiding places where room temperatures are unstable. Room temperature above 40℃ or below 15℃ may result in weighing inaccuracy and possible damage to your scale.

Do not place scales too close to magnets, which may interfere with the load cells and accuracy of the scales.
