On all of our scales, there is an LED light indicating that your scale is charging.
The Lunar has a lightning bolt symbol on the bottom left that appears when it is charging
The original Pearl has an amber light on the bottom left corner that displays when it is charging
If your scale does not display these lights upon plugging it in, the problem could be with your charging cable or your scale's USB charging port. First, check if your charging cable can charge another device. If it cannot, you may need to replace your charging cable. If it can charge another device, your scale's charging port may be damaged. This typically occurs from accidentally inserting the USB charging cable in the incorrect orientation. Please make sure your charging cable is in the correct orientation before attempting to insert the cable, as shown in the picture below:
Pearl Model S and Pearl Model S 2022
The Pearl Model S displays an orange lightning symbol in the upper left corner of the display when the battery is charging and turns off when the battery is fully charged. The indicator starts flashing or does not appear when the USB cable is not working. The Pearl Model S 2022 displays the same orange lightning symbol when the battery is charging. The indicator starts flashing when the battery power is low as a reminder to charge the scale.
Pearl 2021
Charging and Low Battery Indicator -This lightning indicator in the top left of the display turns on when the battery is charging and turns off once the battery is fully charged. The indicator starts flashing when the battery power is low as a reminder to charge the scale.
The Acaia Pearl 2021 is equipped with charging protection to prevent the battery from charging under high temperatures. It is normal if the scale does not charge when the surface is hot from brewing coffee. Battery charging function will be enabled once the scale has cooled.
Pyxis/Cinco
