How to turn on and off the Acaia scale

Turn on the scale

Press the “power” button for 0.5 seconds to turn on the scale.

You should see a brief screen of "cACAIA" (original Pearl or Lunar) or “acaia” (for Pearl 2021, Pearl Model S, and Pearl Model S 2022) before it goes into a mode. If it's stuck on the loading screen, it means that it can't find a stable environment. Read more about why level surfaces are important.

Turn off the scale

Double tap the "power" button to turn off the scale.

If your Pearl's firmware is before 1.8390, press and hold the "power" button for 3 seconds to turn off the scale.
