Orbit Warranty

The Orbit grinder has a 1-year limited manufacturer’s warranty.

The Eclipse Edition Orbit, which will be the first production batches of the grinder, has extended product support for a term of 18 months.

 

The warranty and term begin on the purchase date. This warranty covers all defects in materials and workmanship (parts and labor). Purchases from unauthorized dealers will not be covered by warranty. 

 

The Orbit Grinder is intended to be used only with whole roasted coffee beans. The warranty does not apply to: improper use, lack of cleaning, abuse, normal wear and tear, foreign objects (debris, metallic objects, etc.) mixed in with beans or uses outside the intended use of grinding whole roasted coffee beans.

 

Shipping for Warranty Repairs 

 

In-Warranty Repairs. 

For US customers, Acaia provides free ground transportation to and from our US repair facility. The grinder is currently only available within the US. If the customer purchases the Orbit in the US and then ships or takes it out of the country, the customer is responsible for paying the international freight charges and any duties for replacement parts or grinders that Acaia may send.

 

Outside-Warranty Repairs. 

Acaia may be able to repair units that are not covered by the warranty. The customer is responsible for paying all fees: repair, parts, and shipping (including duties).
